The City of Oglesby is looking for a full-time Street Maintenance Laborer to help with day-to-day duties and responsibilities of the Street Department. This is a union position with the IBEW.
Job Description
Street Maintenance Laborer
Duties
- Maintain city streets
- Assist in repairing water main and sewer breaks
- Snow Plowing
- Street sweeping
- Performing chipper services
Skills
- Left a maximum of 50lbs
- Perform manual labor under various working and weather conditions
- Class B CDL Preferred
- Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalency
Other
- Must pass a physical including drug/alcohol test
- Background check is required
Compensation and benefits
The City of Oglesby is offering an hourly rate of $22.02. Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, participation in the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF), membership in the IBEW, paid vacation and sick leave.
